I created this symbolic piece with Revelation 12 as inspiration.
At the heart of the chaplet rests the Miraculous Medal, depicting Our Lady crowned with twelve stars, an image long associated with Revelation 12. The dangling teardrop element gently reminds us of the promise found at the end of Revelation: every tear will be wiped away. It reminds us that spiritual struggles give way to restoration and peace.
On the opposite end is St Michael the Archangel, steadfast and unyielding. Paired with him is the dagger, the symbol of spiritual vigilance which represents protection and the resolve to stand firm against evil, remaining faithful and vigilant in times of trial.
This piece is created entirely of solid sterling silver and solid 14kt gold combined with 10mm chatoyant deep blue Hawk's Eye gemstone beads. I added the subtle sprinkling of the tiniest 14kt solid gold accent beads along with antiqued solid sterling bead caps. Ten Ave beads and one Pater bead, also accented with tiny 14kt gold beads, form a traditional single decade for prayer.
It has a comforting solid weight in the hand.
Each bead is carefully wire wrapped with sterling silver and antiqued silver bead caps.
This is a devotional piece meant to be kept, gifted, and handed down.
